For potential revenue you could allow for advertising on our site. This is only a valuable revenue stream if the advertising is targeted as untargeted advertising pays very little for example 50cents per 1000 views. You could also get sponsors and endorsements for your website depending on the what the cause is. If you have a website for supporting a good cause you may get a sponser relatively easy. For instance companies in a similar line of work or even other charitable organisations such as Greenpeace may sponsor a smaller movement such as Hive-IT. Another potential stream of revenue is the charitable donations that are given to help fund the movement.
